Chartered in 1978, with just 27
inspired, hopeful singers, Shoreline
Sound now boasts a 70 plus membership, and proudly retains many of it's
charter members. We're a seven-time Regional Championship Chorus, and
take pride in the ability to perform and entertain in our own four-part
harmony style. We cherish our camaraderie nurtured through our love
of music.
Our focus on vocal production and
showmanship has given us the opportunity to perform on the International
Stage in Detroit, Kansas City, Honolulu, San Antonio, New Orleans,
Atlanta and Las Vegas. We've thrilled audiences with our luxurious costumes and
dazzling choreography. Along the way, we've spawned many
championship quartets, a mainstay of Sweet Adelines International.
Whether we harmonize the National
Anthem at professional sports venues, or sing Christmas songs at the Fox
Theatre, we find time to honor our communities on a civic basis.
Our singers come from all walks of
life......we're nurses, teachers, accountants, clerks, retail, stay-at-home moms,
doctors, pharmacists, engineers, and college students. Some are retired, some
new to the work force. Some drive great distances and we boast members from 56
communities in Southeast Michigan and Canada.

Royal Oak Church of Christ,
115 S. Campbell, Royal
Oak, Michigan 48067. We're
there from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Ability to read music is not a requirement.

Make your next occasion a real
occasion! Call us to perform for you! We can have as many or
as few as your needs call for. Our repertoire includes oldies,
seasonal music, traditional favorites, spirituals, and some good
old-fashioned chord bustin' barbershop harmony. Our a cappella sound
and some zany comedy routines will round out our evening. |
